Job summary

Red Sky Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Section Engineer for a major civil engineering and tunnelling project in North Wales. You will manage a section of works, oversee Site Engineers and ensure delivery to drawings, specs and programme.

The contract is 12 months, outside IR35 with an all-in rate of £400 per day and accommodation not provided. You will work with the delivery team to meet safety, QA and technical standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience as Section Engineer in civil engineering.
• Strong background in heavy civils or major infrastructure.
• Experience coaching Site Engineers and QA processes.
• Good understanding of temporary works and QA assurance.
• Familiarity with tunnelling, shafts and underground works is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering delivery across your section of works.
• Oversee Site Engineers, setting out and engineering control.
• Ensure works are delivered to drawings, specifications and programme.
• Manage ITPs, QA documentation and engineering records.
• Coordinate temporary works and resolve technical/design issues.
• Work closely with site management, subcontractors and the wider delivery team.
• Ensure works meet project health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
