We are delighted to advertise for a brand new and innovative role tailored to Pharmacy Support Workers supporting the Pharmacy Procurement Team.
You will also support the dispensary team carrying out Final Accuracy Checking and dispensing with the appropriate training.
The post holder will work as part of a dynamic Pharmacy procurement team in delivering an efficient and effective procurement service including the delivery of savings initiatives.
Assist the Pharmacy Technicians for Procurement Services, undertaking procurement activity in the form of ordering, contract monitoring, financial reclaims, stock management and invoicing.
Support the Pharmacy Procurement team in all aspects of administration, operational service and system development, as well as supporting the wider Pharmacy team with core duties.
The post holder will support the Procurement team with Procurement duties, CMU contracting lines, contract negotiations and other projects with accurate, consistent, and meaningful data analytics. This will involve the management of CMU updates, monitoring and management of out-of-stock lines, off-contract reclaims and the updating of our Pharmacy systems. They will help co-ordinate the day-to-day workload of the Procurement Team, whilst supporting the Department carrying out core duties.
