Job summary

Octagon Group in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing Programme Management team in a technically demanding engineering and manufacturing environment. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver RF, microwave and mmWave hardware products for space, defence, aerospace and communications, managing the full lifecycle from KO to TRR and delivering clear progress updates.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience in engineering/manufacturing.
• Experience delivering complex hardware from development to production.
• Experience across Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Procurement and Supply Chain.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects through full product lifecycle including KO, PDR, CDR, MRR and TRR stages.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and milestones.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Produce project reports, dashboards and performance metrics.
• Lead customer meetings, programme reviews and project discussions.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure effective communication across all areas of the project.
