Job summary

Filtronic plc is seeking a leader in microwave filter engineering to drive end-to-end filter design from concept through validation and release. You will coordinate across RF/ microwave teams, perform design reviews and generate compliant documentation for production.

The role requires hands-on tuning with VNAs, tolerance and yield analysis, and strong interaction with customers and internal stakeholders to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in RF/Microwave Engineering.
• Experience with RF/ Microwave filter design.
• Proficient with RF design tools: Microwave Office, CST Studio, Spark3D.
• Experience with tolerance/yield analysis and power handling.
• Hands-on tuning of RF/microwave filters using VNAs.
• Strong ability to interface with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead full design of RF/microwave filters from concept to release.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams on projects.
• Prepare design logs, data packs and peer reviews for release.
• Produce test specs, reports and reliability evaluations.
• Maintain design compliance matrices with evidence of compliance.
