Job summary

Modis International Ltd in Hertfordshire is seeking a Lead RF Design Engineer to lead a high‑performing RF and antenna engineering team. The role combines technical leadership with hands‑on design responsibilities to drive complex RF systems from concept through delivery.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate work packages and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality, cost and schedule targets are met in a progressive, hybrid work environment.

Opportunity

An exciting leadership opportunity has arisen for an experienced RF Engineer to join a growing Electronics Engineering team focused on the design and development of advanced RF and antenna technologies.

This role combines technical leadership with hands‑on engineering responsibility, giving you the opportunity to lead talented engineers whilst contributing to delivery of complex, high‑performance RF systems. Working alongside technical specialists, project teams and engineering leadership, you will play a key role in driving both project success and team development.

The position offers clear progression opportunities for individuals interested in advanced technical leadership or people management pathways.

Key Responsibilities

  • RF circuit design across a broad frequency spectrum (approximately 30 MHz to 30 GHz).
  • Low Noise Amplifiers (LNA).
  • High Power Amplifiers (HPA).
  • Filters, local oscillators and synthesizers.
  • Modulator and transceiver design.
• Electronics Engineering
  • Analogue electronics.
  • Digital electronics.
  • Power supply design and integration.
