Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Technical Policy Manager to lead responsible AI deployment across its AI software products and operations. The role focuses on translating principles into governance, learning, and scalable policies, balancing external engagement with internal policy design.

Hybrid work in the UK (London or Cambridge) with 50% office presence, and a permanent, full-time arrangement. You will collaborate with Product, IT, Security, Legal, Risk, Sustainability and Talent teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated/high-assurance environments (e.g., critical infrastructure, energy/utilities, pharma, transportation, public sector).
• Strong technical background to assess complex AI/ML tech for ethical alignment.
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences; capable of influencing senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Translate Responsible AI principles into practical guidance, procedures and tools across the AI lifecycle.
• Define governance frameworks, decision rights, review gates and documentation standards.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across Security, Risk/Compliance, Sustainability, Legal and commercial teams.
• Socialise and embed Responsible AI Principles across the organisation with learning pathways.
• Develop external guidance, playbooks and customer assurance packets for responsible AI deployment.
