Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a senior reservoir engineer to lead the technical delivery of reservoir safety projects and shape the overall technical strategy for major asset management initiatives.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate across disciplines, manage risk, ensure compliance, and maintain strong communication with clients throughout project lifecycles.

The role emphasizes leadership, governance and the delivery of safe, sustainable hydraulic infrastructure solutions across geographies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (MEng, MSc or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a relevant institution (ICE, CIWEM, IStructE or equivalent).
• Proven experience leading technical delivery and assurance of reservoir engineering and dam safety projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, bringing technical judgement and leadership to reservoir safety commissions.
• Lead complex reservoir safety and hydraulic infrastructure projects from inception to completion, including technical direction and client communication.
• Maintain technical oversight and governance across projects, ensuring quality, safety, sustainability and compliance.
• Lead bids and proposals, developing technical approaches and strong client relationships.
• Provide leadership and mentoring for engineers and specialists to build reservoir engineering capability.
