Job summary

The Developer Link is seeking a Lead Simulation Engineer in London with hybrid flexibility to own simulation technology and lead a 4+ engineering team. Reporting to the CTO, you will drive real-time XR, physics-based modelling and engineering simulation.

You will set architecture direction, mentor engineers, and drive AI-assisted development across VR, Mixed Reality and Web platforms, with a base salary of £100-£140k plus package.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering real-time simulation or XR applications.
• Strong background in software architecture and leading technical projects.
• Hands-on Unity development with Unreal experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and technical strategy for simulation systems.
• Design scalable real-time technology for XR/VR and physics-based apps.
• Lead delivery for client projects and mentor engineers.
• Set standards for performance, accuracy, and maintainability.
• Drive AI-assisted development and improve developer productivity.
