Job summary

Archer in collaboration with JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in the Markets Technology domain to drive high-quality UI solutions. You will own design, build, and deliver secure, scalable front-end components while acting as a hands-on leader for a React/JavaScript team.

You will collaborate across teams to evaluate architectures, promote best practices, and advance AI-assisted development within a mature SDLC, balancing speed, quality, and security.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing and operational stability.
• Seasoned tech leader able to manage a UI engineering team and hands-on with React/JavaScript.
• Designing, structuring, maintaining and scaling high-performance UI applications.
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.
• Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies including CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
• Experience with cloud native environments and AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting across complex problems.
• Develops secure production code and reviews code written by others.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation to improve stability.
• Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams on architectures.
