About the Hospital

Cromwell Hospital is a major international private hospital in West London serving both UK and international patients. It offers a comprehensive range of clinical services including theatres, cardiology, intensive care, paediatrics and diagnostic radiology. The newly established Radiography Department is equipped with state‑of‑the‑art technology.

Equipment
  • Two general X‑Ray rooms
  • One fluoroscopy suite, which can also be utilized as an additional X‑Ray room
  • One Cone Beam CT scanner
  • One Bone Density scanner with advanced body composition analysis capabilities
  • Two mobile X‑Ray units
  • Four theatre image intensifiers
Role Summary

The General X‑Ray and Theatre Lead Radiographer will plan and deliver current and future services for the Theatre, Fluoroscopy and general Radiology Department. The role requires clinical expertise, operational leadership and strategic business planning to meet patient and organisational needs within available resources.

Key Skills / Qualifications
  • State Registered Radiographer with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) – essential
  • BSc (Hons) degree or equivalent qualification in Radiography – essential
  • Substantial post‑graduate experience in radiology at a senior level – essential
  • Membership of an appropriate professional body and/or clinical interest group – desirable
