Searchability® in Manchester is seeking a Principal QA Engineer to join our on-site team. You will lead quality initiatives, shape the automation strategy and mentor teammates across the product squads.

You will work with Cypress, Selenium and Postman, contribute to the testing roadmap, and partner with developers in an Agile environment to deliver robust software solutions. This is a senior, hands-on role with a focus on coaching and setting quality standards.

Qualifications

• Senior QA professional with strong automation experience.
• Experience coaching and mentoring QA teams.
• Hands-on with automation frameworks and industry best practices.
• Familiar with Cypress, Selenium and API testing with Postman.

Responsibilities

Principal QA Engineer- 5 days a week on site in Central Manchester

• Salary up to £75,000 – 25 days holiday plus bank holiday, pension, and other benefits.

Due to our growth in recent years and our plans for the future, we are looking to bring on an experienced Principal QA Engineer to be a real driving force behind the upcoming success and to allow us to work to a high standard.

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Principal QA Engineer to come in and join our Manchester team. You will be working in a close nit product team and collaborating with your colleagues each day. You will have a key influence in the work they do and display a drive for continuous improvement. We use a wide variety of cutting edge and modern tech, but you will mainly be working Cypress, Postman, Visual Studio, Android Studio and Azure DevOps. We are looking for a Principal QA with substantial automation framework creation experience.

The role doesn’t include any line management, rather you’d be helping to coach and mentor as well as being a lead voice for QA in the wider business.
