Job summary

Chroma Recruitment is seeking a Lead Software Test Engineer to strengthen our testing capability within an innovative technology company. The role sits in a strong R&D team, collaborating with electronics hardware, embedded software, and mobile app engineers.

An embedded background is beneficial but not essential. The successful candidate will drive testing across mobile apps, web apps, backend services, and embedded systems, and may engage with automation and manual testing, using TestRail for

Qualifications

Technical leadership experience.
Mentoring or team lead experience desirable.
IQSTB Foundation Level qualification or above.
Experience with manual and automated testing.
Experience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android).
Experience testing web applications and REST APIs.
Experience with test case management tools such as TestRail.
Embedded background is beneficial, but not an absolute requirement.

Responsibilities

Help expand testing capability across mobile apps, embedded software, web applications, and backend services.
Work within our R&D team alongside electronics hardware, embedded software, and mobile app engineers.
Test embedded code.
