Qualifications

• Strong mechanical engineering background.
• Experience leading or coordinating engineering projects.
• Comfortable speaking with customers and building relationships.
• Commercially aware, with an interest in the sales side of engineering.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Leading mechanical engineering projects from initial enquiry through to completion.
• Acting as a key point of contact for customers throughout projects.
• Discussing customer requirements and helping develop suitable engineering solutions.
• Working closely with internal engineering, design and manufacturing teams.
• Managing project timescales, progress and priorities.
• Supporting quotations and the sales process from a technical perspective.
• Building strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to customer requirements.
• Providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
