We're seeking a dynamic Lead Project Manager on a 12 month FTC to coordinate and deliver our statutory Water Resources WINEP commitments. This is a pivotal role, ensuring seamless collaboration across internal teams, stakeholders, and regulators to achieve successful outcomes. As the Lead Project Manager, you'll work with cross‑functional teams to oversee the delivery of our AMP8 WINEP programme. Reporting to the Asset Strategy Lead, your responsibilities include:
Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our projects. You will be responsible for achieving deliverables on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. This includes effectively managing all aspects of programme delivery to meet objectives.
You'll be based at our Head Office in Coventry. You'll work within our Asset Strategy team. With this being such a critical role, we're looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week and holds a full U.K. driving licence.
We’re looking for an individual with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset and a strong background in project delivery. This role requires someone who can perform effectively under pressure while driving results in a complex and fast‑paced environment. You’ll need to have significant experience managing complex programmes with multiple stakeholders, coupled with the ability to identify risks, implement effective solutions, and influence outcomes across diverse teams.
Excellent communication skills are essential, as you’ll be building strong relationships with regulators and internal teams to achieve programme objectives. In addition, a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and risk management principles is vital for success in this role.
