Job Description

Working as a Test Analyst within the Testing function of Klipboard you will ensure the quality of the products by generating and executing product functionality tests and identifying and reporting product defects as part of a cross‑functional project team. You will be part of a dynamic, energetic and accommodating team, typically working within a product team and sometimes required to take sole responsibility for all aspects of testing. You will collaborate with development teams, project managers, end users and other groups to ensure that all criteria of testing are fulfilled.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop manual and/or automation tests.
• Participate in all aspects of the product lifecycle: understand the product requirements, create test cases, execute feature, regression, integration and end‑to‑end tests.
• Run through test cases and report on results.
• Ensure defects are reported and tracked.
• Work with developers to diagnose and rectify software problems.
• Understand product business requirements and review functional specifications to detect and remove defects early in the lifecycle.
• Write test cases in line with specifications to test core functionality, identify and investigate ambiguities in test results and propose solutions.
• Execute test cases on specific areas of product functionality and check outcomes against expected results.
• Participate fully in Agile development processes, communicating and voicing ideas, questions and concerns openly with the team.
• Implement and use the departmental standard QA processes and tools.
• Work collaboratively with developers and testers to ensure quality is built into our applications as new features and technologies are introduced.
• Embrace continuous improvement as part of our software development process.
• Support the implementation of quality practices across the eCommerce solution.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• ISTQB qualification.
• Experience of writing, maintaining and executing manual test cases.
• Expertise across the entire test lifecycle.
• Experience of integration testing.
• Exposure to automated testing (Visual Studio / Visual Studio Code, Selenium with C#).
• Exposure to Selenium Grid and Visual Regression Tracker (VRT).
• Understanding of Azure DevOps (advantageous).
• UX testing (desirable).
• Must have between 1‑3 years’ experience in software testing.
• Experience with GIT, Jira.
• Test management tools such as TestRail, XRay.
• Technical skills: pursuit of training and development opportunities, continuous skill building, sharing expertise with others.
