Job summary

Spotify is seeking a Lead Product Manager to shape the audiobook experience across mobile platforms, from discovery to playback and library management. You will partner with the Audiobooks business unit to translate strategy into innovative product experiences and work with Engineering, Design, Data, and other teams to deliver at scale.

Using data, experiments, and listener insights, you’ll drive decisions, balance user needs with technical and business constraints, and influence stakeholders

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Meaningful experience with audiobook, ebook, digital reading, or related consumer products.
• Deep understanding of the audiobook or digital reading landscape, including user behavior, publisher ecosystems, and competitive dynamics.
• Experience building consumer products for mobile platforms such as iOS and Android, including complex user experiences.
• Understanding of scalable systems and experiences.
• Ability to balance user needs, technical considerations, and business impact.
• Experience partnering with Engineering, Design, Data, and other disciplines from strategy through delivery.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity, making thoughtful trade-offs, and creating clarity across teams.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across functions and levels.
• Active use of AI tools in product development, including research, analysis, iteration, and prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Lead product strategy for audiobooks and digital reading experiences.
• Partner with the Audiobooks business unit to translate strategy into product innovation.
• Drive innovation across multimodal experiences, including listening and reading.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data, and other teams to deliver high-quality experiences at scale.
• Use data, experimentation, and user insights to make product decisions and improve the experience.
• Build alignment across Core Experience, Audiobooks, Personalization, and other partners.
• Lead complex cross-functional initiatives end to end, setting direction and scope.
• Shape Spotify's consumer experience across mobile apps and other platforms.
