Job Description

Visible is seeking a Lead Product Designer to spearhead the next phase of its innovative wearable technology for chronic illness. This role involves setting the design vision, proactively driving product direction, and nurturing a high-performance product culture. You'll lead a small team, shape the roadmap, and ensure accessible, impactful design for over 250,000 users, making invisible illness visible.

Location

This is a full-time hybrid role with the option to work from home 1-2 days a week. Our office is in Second Home Shoreditch.

What you will do
  • Report to the CEO and collaborate with Product, Tech, and Data Science Leads to define and shape the future product roadmap and strategy.
  • Manage and mentor a Senior Product Designer, fostering a high-performance design culture and contributing to wider product team ways of working.
  • Lead the design process from discovery to delivery, conducting research, iterating at speed, and ensuring insights inform product decisions.
The ideal candidate
  • Proven experience designing mobile apps in mission-driven teams, with a strong understanding of bringing ideas to life across various operating systems and screen sizes.
  • Deep commitment to building accessible products, motivated by the opportunity to help individuals manage complex chronic illnesses.
  • A low-ego, emotionally intelligent leader comfortable with fast-paced environments, capable of coaching and managing a small team to achieve high performance.
