Your role at Vertice

We're on the lookout for a UX Design Lead who's excited about building meaningful user‑friendly experiences and leading a small but mighty design team.

As a key leader you'll collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to deliver scalable, user‑centric solutions that drive business adoption and growth.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience designing a complex system or platform
• 3 years in leading a design team
• Deep knowledge of Figma design system and openness to explore new tools and technologies
• You have strong leadership and social skills
• You have experience collaborating closely with R&D and product teams
• You're able to work directly with PMs/engineers and push back and justify design decisions when needed to maintain quality best practices and support scale
• You have a positive attitude with a willingness to put aside ego for the sake of what's best for the team
• You possess the ability to adapt, switch gears and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
• You have excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• You are creative and an outside‑of‑the‑box thinker
• Portfolio – strong UX portfolio with case studies displaying depth of work solving complex problems from scratch
• SaaS or B2B designing solutions that are data‑rich and often solve niche user problems that balance functionality with beauty

What we'd love to see

• Lead and mentor a team of product designers fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and execute the design strategy for our evolving platform and its different personas
• Drive the design process from concept to launch ensuring high‑quality, user‑centric design solutions
• Collaborate with product, engineering, data and marketing teams to develop a high‑end look and feel
• You're able to lead by example and be hands‑on
• An ability to work directly with engineers to understand technical requirements and limitations of a feature
• Excitement for design systems and building playbooks for UX design rather than individual one‑off solutions
• Working in a startup environment is strongly preferred
• An appreciation of good UI design and surfacing playful interactions and delightful customer experiences within B2B SaaS products
