Overview

Pre-Commission Cleaning Engineer - UK

Salary - up to £55,000 dependant on experience.

Based in Slough for first project then around South East London. Vehicle and fuel card provided.

Join our water & air technology client and help keep building systems running smoothly from day one! We're looking for a skilled and dedicated Pre-Commission Cleaning Engineer to carry out essential cleaning of HVAC systems, boilers, and pipework in commercial and industrial buildings across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Clean HVAC systems, boilers, and pipework to industry standards before they go live
• Use specialist chemicals, methods, and equipment to remove dirt, debris, and contaminants
• Deliver projects on time and within budget
• Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues to keep everything on track
• Maintain accurate records and report any issues promptly
• Follow strict health & safety procedures at all times
• Stay up to date with best practices and new cleaning technologies
• Provide training and guidance to team members when needed

Requirements

• Valid SSSTS / CSCS card for site supervision and health & safety compliance
• Proven experience in pre-commission cleaning of HVAC systems, boilers, and pipework
• Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel - travel to sites across Sout East London
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy equipment
