Job summary

Thrive Childcare and Education is seeking a skilled Lead Practitioner to join the Corner House nursery. You will lead your room team, support children’s learning and deliver high-quality care within our nursery setting.

Ideal candidates will have Lead Practitioner or Room Leader experience, Level 3 Early Years, and a passion for childcare and development. This role offers progression within a growing nursery group.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential)
• Experience as Lead Practitioner or Room Leader
• Strong understanding of EYFS framework
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting a team of nursery practitioners
• Delivering high-quality childcare and education in line with EYFS
• Planning activities to support learning and school readiness
• Building strong relationships with parents and carers
• Monitoring, observing and assessing children’s progress
• Supporting safeguarding and nursery compliance
