A leading care provider in Scotland is seeking a compassionate Lead Practitioner to join their team in Port Glasgow. This role involves working closely with children to support their growth and development in a nurturing therapeutic environment. You’re compassionate, reflective and committed to helping children achieve their full potential. You bring warmth, patience and professionalism to everything you do and understand the power of genuine connection.
You’ll hold an HNC in Social Care and SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, and be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). A full manual driving licence is essential.
You’ll have significant experience in care or education, with a person‑centred approach and a willingness to keep learning. It’s an advantage if you have knowledge of Attachment Theory or Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), and good communication and IT skills will help you thrive in the role.
You should be comfortable working within and supporting the Christian values and ethos of CrossReach. Membership of the PVG Scheme and compliance with SSSC standards are required.
