Job summary

Barnet Council is seeking a social work supervisor to provide case direction and supervision to social workers, enablement and assessment officers and students. You will manage a small, complex caseload and work with health partners in a multi-agency approach to deliver statutory Care Act functions.

You will oversee safeguarding, promote social justice, and lead a united, supportive team while ensuring high professional standards in challenging circumstances.

Qualifications

• Be registered with Social Work England.
• Experience in managing complex and multi-dynamic cases.
• Experience in facilitating hospital discharges.
• Experience of providing leadership support to social work colleagues.
• A team player who will promote a positive working environment.
• Promote social justice and human rights of vulnerable adults in professional practice.
• Emotional resilience and confidence to provide strong leadership support.
