Background

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse looking to take the next step into a leadership role within a supportive, well-established GP surgery in Scarborough.

You will be joining a friendly, multi-disciplinary team that includes GPs, ANPs, Pharmacists, and Nurses, all working together to deliver high-quality patient care.

Location – Scarborough, North Yorkshire

Your Role

Lead Practice Nurse – full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

  • Combination of clinical and leadership duties
  • Focus areas include long‑term condition management (Diabetes, COPD, Asthma, Hypertension), cervical cytology, wound care, immunisations, and health promotion
  • Opportunities to develop nurse‑led clinics and contribute to quality improvement
  • Mentor and support junior nursing staff
  • Structured induction and ongoing training provided
