A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Lead Practice Nurse to join a highly supportive and well-established GP surgery in Leicestershire. The practice is seeking a confident and personable nurse who can take ownership of the role, lead a small nursing team, and deliver excellent patient care across both treatment room and chronic disease management services. This is a flexible, family-feel practice that prides itself on teamwork, patient focus, and professional development. Salary - £46,800-£52,650 (DOE) + NHS pension + 5 weeks annual leave + Bank Holidays + funded training & development

Highly regarded, single-site GP surgery with around 8,500 patients. Supportive and forward-thinking team led by enthusiastic Partners. Multidisciplinary team including GPs, ANP, Paramedic, Pharmacists, Physiotherapist, HCAs, and admin staff. CQC Good rating. SystmOne practice with excellent local clinical network support. Spacious, purpose-built premises with a large car park and strong community links. Focus on staff wellbeing, flexibility, and open communication. Lead Practice Nurse (around 30 hours per week - flexible on days and hours). No evenings, weekends, or home visits. Flexible start and finish times, typically between 8am and 5pm. Opportunity to shape the role and influence nursing services within the practice. Lead and support a small, established team including Practice Nurse, HCAs, and Phlebotomist.
You will be a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with experience in a GP practice setting. You'll have strong clinical skills, confidence managing long-term conditions, and the ability to support and develop colleagues.
