Wellington Road Family Practice (WRFP) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurseto step in as Lead Practice Nurse at our forward-thinking GP practice based inYate, South Gloucestershire. This is afantastic opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with team leadership,while playing a key role in helping the practice achieve its financial andquality targets.

We are open to a range of working patterns such as full time, part time or job shares. Working hours can be agreed and there will bean element of remote working involved occasionally. Salary is flexible depending onexperience.

Main duties of the job

What you'll do:

  • Deliver high quality patient care
  • Lead and inspire our nursing team, driving development and high standards of care
  • Act as Infection Prevention & Control lead
  • Manage and develop chronic disease, health promotion and frailty programmes
  • Support practice income achievement (QOF, IIF, LES/DES, Public Health)
  • Oversee rotas, appraisals, training and compliance
