Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED is seeking a Senior Powertrain Design Engineer to own designs across car fluid systems (Water/Oil/Hydraulics/Fuel) and PU-facing systems such as Tailpipe and Air Horn, within the Powertrain group in the Enstone Engineering Office.

You will lead detailed design from cradle to grave, mentor engineers, and coordinate with Chief Engineers and other Design Sections to ensure timely, right-first-time delivery. CAD experience with Catia V5/3DX is preferred and strongly supported.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• Experience in F1 or high-level motorsport preferred.
• CAD experience with Catia V5/3DX preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to detailed design specifications cradle to grave, defining and supporting validation, servicing and utilisation and resolving issues.
• Responsibilities include concept design, detailing machined parts, detailing composites and applicable tooling, and design of build tooling for complex assemblies.
• Lead a project technically, liaising with Chief Engineers and other Design Sections, and escalate timing conflicts.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to design sign-off.
