Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions on behalf of our client seeks an experienced construction scheduler in Farnborough. You will develop and maintain the integrated programme using Primavera P6, coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction to align resources with schedule, and deliver progress reports.

Role requires on‑site scheduling with strong command of P6/MS Project, CMMS (SAP Maximo), and risk‑based planning. UK site based with a competitive package and opportunities for site leadership.

Qualifications

• In‑depth knowledge of refinery processes and equipment.
• Proficiency with CMMS platforms SAP PM or Maximo for work orders and planning data.
• Strong scheduling capability with Primavera P6 or MS Project for daily/weekly schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the integrated construction programme using Primavera P6 (or equivalent), ensuring accurate logic links, sequencing, and critical path analysis.
• Lead short‑term planning including 2‑week and 4‑week lookaheads aligned with the master schedule.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure design deliverables, materials, and resources align with programme requirements.
• Monitor progress on site through daily/weekly updates, site walks, and subcontractor coordination.
• Produce progress reports including dashboards, S‑curves, earned value, and variance analysis for internal and client reporting.
• Identify risks and opportunities within the programme and propose mitigation or recovery actions.
• Support change management by assessing programme impacts of variations, delays, and scope changes.
• Strong scheduling capability using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project to develop daily, weekly, and shutdown schedules.
