We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Pharmacy Technician - Medicines Efficiency to join our forward-thinking pharmacy team at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving the Medicines Efficiency Programme across the Trust.
You’ll lead a small team, manage cost‑saving initiatives, and ensure governance compliance while working closely with pharmacists, clinicians, finance, and procurement teams.
Your expertise will help shape medicines optimisation strategies and deliver measurable improvements for patients.

As the Lead Pharmacy Technician Medicines Efficiency, you will have a Trust‑wide remit to lead and coordinate the Medicines Efficiency Programme, ensuring delivery of cost‑saving initiatives, governance compliance, and operational efficiency.
You will manage a small team, act as the technical lead for medicines efficiency projects, and work closely with pharmacists, clinicians, finance, and procurement teams to embed medicines optimisation strategies.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
