• Perform final accuracy checks on dispensed items.

Job description

As a Lead Pharmacy Technician - Medicines Management, you will:

• Ensure the day-to-day delivery of a high-quality ward-based pharmacy service, covering both clinical and technical aspects.
• Provide supervision, mentoring, and line management to pharmacy technicians, assistants, and trainees.
• Support medicines reconciliation, discharge facilitation, and stock management across inpatient areas.
• Deputise for the Principal Pharmacy Technician - Clinical Services.
• Act as an Educational Supervisor and contribute to training and development programmes.
• Perform final accuracy checks on dispensed items in accordance with accreditation.

Our passion for developing and expanding the scope of MMPT roles has led to the creation of a new Lead Pharmacy Technician post, and we are now recruiting to maintain technician capacity and ensure continuity of care across inpatient services.
