A healthcare organization is looking for a Lead Pharmacy Technician to join their Clinical Services Team. We have an exciting opportunity to join the Pharmacy Clinical Services Team at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. This vacancy arises due to an internal promotion following the recent restructure of the Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician (MMPT) team. Our passion for developing and expanding the scope of MMPT roles has led to the creation of a new Lead Pharmacy Technician post, and we are now recruiting to maintain technician capacity and ensure continuity of care across inpatient services.

This Band 6 Pharmacy Technician post sits within the Clinical Services team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), part of Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. The vacancy has arisen following the internal appointment of the current postholder to a newly created Lead MMPT role a reflection of our ongoing commitment to developing and expanding the scope of Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician roles.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality ward-based pharmacy services, supporting medicines reconciliation, discharge facilitation, and stock management across inpatient areas. You will work closely with pharmacists, technicians, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred medicines use.
