Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant perioperative or equivalent experience within relevant specialty.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with colleagues and patients.
• Ability to lead, teach and support peri-operative teams and junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities within the peri-operative environment ensuring effective communication.
• Support qualified and unqualified staff in the department.
• Assess patient care needs and contribute to development and evaluation of care programmes.
• Provide role modelling and promote evidence-based practice in the absence of the Team Leader.
