Job summary

Instant Swim Ltd is a fast-growing UK performance swimwear brand seeking an experienced Product Developer & Designer to own the development process from concept to production. You’ll design swimwear and technical categories, create tech packs, and work with overseas manufacturers to ensure fit and quality.

We’re looking for 3+ years in performance apparel, a strong eye for fabrics and construction, and a creative mindset to drive product innovation across new performance categories.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in apparel product development and/or technical design.
• Strong background in performance apparel, activewear, sportswear or swimwear.
• Experience moving products from concept through production.
• Excellent knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, fit and specs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new swimwear styles, colourways and collections.
• Lead development of new product categories, including technical clothing for swimmers.
• Create detailed tech packs, specifications and construction guidelines.
• Manage sampling, fittings, revisions and product approvals.
• Sourcing and researching performance fabrics, trims and materials.
• Communicate with overseas manufacturers and manage development timelines.
• Ensure products meet fit, quality, functionality and design standards.
• Support product costing, MOQs and production planning.
