Job summary

A healthcare provider in Barnsley is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Paediatric Diabetes Dietitian to join their Nutrition and Dietetics team on a fixed-term basis. This role involves leading the Paediatric Diabetes service, managing a caseload, and supervising a Dietitian. Candidates must possess relevant qualifications, including a Degree in Dietetics and registration as a Dietitian, with experience in diabetes preferred. Qualifications

• Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics, with ability to work at Masters level.
• Registered Dietitian eligible for registration with the Health Professions Council.
• Advanced Clinical Supervisory Skills Course.

Responsibilities

• Clinically lead the Paediatric Diabetes service for Dietetics within inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Supervise and manage the Band 6 Dietitian within the service.
• Own and manage a caseload of Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes patients.
