The Brand is at the heart of all our designs, and we need someone who can deliver amazing packaging for our consumers and work closely with the Product team to bring the products to life on shelf and online.

The role is fast-paced, ever-changing and requires a team member who is confident, resilient and self-sufficient. Working to tight deadlines at speed, whilst maintaining a high level of design and a keen eye for detail.

  • Leading the creation of new product packaging design concepts as briefed by the Product team
  • Managing branding consistency on product across all associated brands in line with agreed brand guidelines and ensuring all artwork is produced with a consistent pack design, layout, copy and brief
  • Ensuring consumer led commercial products are designed
  • Managing the Packaging Design team to deliver the creation of designs according to brief, in line with agreed guidelines and within timescales agreed
  • Managing the full 360 packaging time line, from ideation to following artwork deadlines and critical paths.
  • Creating digital renders and mock-up samples of product designs for customer presentations as and when required
  • Effectively manage workload and stakeholder expectations whenever appropriate according to project priorities
  • To create, design, proof, edit, amend and update artwork across all brands as necessary.
  • To liaise with printers/factories as and when needed to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality and to assist the Packaging team in any print issue resolution
  • To undertake ad hoc projects as and when required in order to meet the needs of the business.
  • Managing the Packaging Design team to ensure their individual development needs are met and that projects are executed on time.
  • Keep up to date on current trends and trend forecasts that will benefit your future designs. To aid thinking outside the box and creative innovative packaging.
  • Ability to adapt your style to different brands, keeping in mind to keep your designs commercial for the consumer.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and oversee the sampling and final artwork process closely with them.
  • Strong focus on print quality and adding extra detail to designs to make our packaging really sing.
  • Good knowledge of component finishes and print techniques so you can recommend what packaging will make a product stand out from the rest.
  • Have knowledge on sustainability and how we can improve packaging within a fast past beauty brand.
  • Work closely with the Brand Design team and assist with PR packaging.
What you’ll have:
  • Highly creative, dedicated graphic designer who will constantly strive for beauty in all they do, defy convention and challenge the norm.
  • Passion for packaging to contribute to a great consumer experience and the building of strong brands through innovation.
  • Solid foundation across packaging technologies, ability to engage and steer technical topics with the Packaging Artworkers and printers/suppliers.
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to listen and translate this into actionable briefs and manage feedback and adapt to changes as and when required.

  • PowerPoint & Excel proficient.
  • Experience managing team members.
  • Experience of working in the beauty industry.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptionally organised and adaptable with the ability to multitask.
  • Confident with a natural ability to lead and be a self-driven, solution-based individual.
  • Team player who can motivate the Packaging Design Team and work with cross functional teams in the business.
