Job summary

GenesisCare UK in Leeds is seeking a Lead Outpatient Nurse to establish and lead a modern outpatient service from day one. You will provide clinical and operational leadership for our outpatient service, supporting diagnostic clinics, endoscopy, and theranostics while developing a high-performing nursing team to deliver exceptional patient care.

As Lead Outpatient Nurse, you will drive service development, patient safety and governance, collaborating with consultants and multidisciplinary

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
Experience in an outpatient setting.
Experience leading or supervising a clinical team.
Competence in venepuncture and cannulation.

Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day delivery of the outpatient service, diagnostic clinics and endoscopy.
Manage staffing, rostering and patient flow to deliver an efficient and high-quality service.
Provide clinical leadership, mentorship and support to nursing colleagues.
Work closely with consultants and the multidisciplinary team to deliver an outstanding patient experience.
Drive service development, quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives.
Ensure the highest standards of patient safety, infection prevention and regulatory compliance.
Support the development of new pathways and services as the Leeds centre continues to grow.
