You will provide expert input to EIA, HRA, and wider environmental assessments while managing client relationships and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Ecology, Ornithology, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject.
• Full membership of an appropriate professional body (e.g., CIEEM) or working towards chartership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver ornithological consultancy projects, focusing on offshore infrastructure while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical leadership on EIA, HRA and wider environmental assessments.
• Coordinate and manage input from HiDef Consultancy Team (Ecological Consultants and Data Scientists).
• Lead preparation, review and QA of technical reports to be robust and timely.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff; line management where required.
• Support business development, proposals and bids; identify opportunities.
