Job summary

Prime-Appointments is recruiting a Lead Operator for a manufacturing firm in Bury St Edmund's for a permanent night shift (20:00–06:00). The role oversees the night shift, supports production equipment, processes orders, and helps maintain a safe, efficient environment.

Duties include operating distillation equipment, start-up and shutdown of plant machinery, routine checks, and supervising the night shift.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a production environment is desirable but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Salary: GBP30000 - GBP30000 per annum + shift premium

We have a new and exciting position for a Lead Operator for a manufacturing firm in Bury St Edmund's working permanent night shift.

We are currently recruiting for a Shift Lead to oversee the night shift for one of the town’s most well-established firms. This is a hands-on shift lead role where you will support the day-to-day running of production equipment, assist with processing orders, and help maintain a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.

Hours are permanent nights, Monday-Thursday, 20:00-06:00.

There is an excellent shift premium which further boosts your salary.

Duties will include:
