Zusammenfassung

Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a SACT-trained registered nurse for the Pembroke Suite. You will lead the infusion day unit, mentor junior staff, and work with oncology/haematology teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role focuses on leadership, governance, and developing the unit alongside senior colleagues, ensuring safe, effective delivery of systemic anti-cancer treatment.

Qualifikationen

• Leadership and experience in managing a team.
• Advanced communication skills within a clinical setting.
• Governance awareness and applying governance practices.
• Leadership in cancer care and staff development.
• Mentoring and appraisal of junior staff.
• Experience with central venous access and chemotherapy governance is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Lead the SACT day unit in collaboration with the senior leadership team.
• Mentor and develop junior staff through appraisals and teaching.
• Coordinate with pharmacy, CNS and consultant teams to ensure high-quality care.
• Oversee daily running and unit development, presenting a united, cohesive voice.
