Job summary

The position involves day and night shifts, a permanent on-site role with full training in health and safety and specialist industry practices. A strong driving licence and practical leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising or leading a team within a practical, technical cleaning, facilities or compliance environment.
• Experience working on commercial or industrial sites.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Strong commitment to health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate Compliance Operatives on client sites.
• Organise workload and allocate duties per programme of works.
• Ensure sufficient manpower, equipment and resources for each job.
• Set priorities and coordinate work to meet timescales.
• Ensure work meets required standards and specifications.
• Monitor procedures and methods followed by teams.
• Liaise with customers and site representatives on priorities.
• Handle issues on site and escalate when needed.
• Ensure risk assessments and health and safety procedures are followed.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and secure sites.
• Report faults or replacements for specialist equipment.
• Manage equipment and costs to complete work.
• Represent the company professionally with clients and site personnel.
• Support training and development of new operatives.
• Communicate progress and remedial needs to managers.
• Ensure policies are followed.
