Job summary

East Specialist Inclusive Learning Centre (East SILC) seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to establish and develop occupational therapy provision across its multi-site settings in Leeds. You will deliver assessment and intervention, embed sensory-informed approaches, and support learners with complex needs, while coaching staff and contributing to EHCP outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified OT with HCPC registration and current practice status.
• Experience with children and young people with SEND and complex needs.
• Strong knowledge of sensory processing and sensory-informed approaches.
• Ability to translate clinical expertise into practical strategies for learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention.
• Develop and embed sensory-informed practice across the organisation.
• Support learners with complex physical, sensory, cognitive and functional needs.
• Coach and train staff to implement effective therapeutic strategies.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary planning and EHCP outcomes.
• Shape service development, quality improvement and future provision.
