Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Therapist for our independent mental health hospital in the UK. You will establish and develop therapy services, deliver clinical OT interventions tailored to each patient’s needs, and lead a team to improve quality of life through targeted treatment programmes.

You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team, monitor service performance, ensure policies under the Mental Health Act 1983 and Mental Capacity Act 2005 are followed, and support OT

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Experience in mental health preferred.
• Excellent communication and budgeting skills.
• Ability to provide statistics on service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement OT treatment programmes with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Monitor and evaluate the OT service.
• Lead Occupational Therapy Assistants and ensure policy compliance with MH Act 1983 and MCA 2005.
