Job summary

JustOT is seeking a Lead Occupational Therapist (Band 7) to provide senior clinical leadership for the school OT service in Aylesbury. The role manages a specialist caseload of children with complex neurodevelopmental needs and delivers evidence-based, child-centered interventions.

You will work within a transdisciplinary team, align with NHS term-time framework (45.6 weeks), and drive governance, staff development, and service improvement with the OT Competency Framework.

Qualifications

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with paediatric experience.
  • Advanced skills in sensory processing, postural management, equipment and participation frameworks.

Salary: £47,810 -£54, 710 Term Time only (salary is paid for 45.6 weeks, same as NHS)

Location : Aylesbury

Must have: EHCP's and sensory integration theory and practice.

Our client is looking for a Lead Occupational Therapist Band 7 to provide senior clinical leadership and strategic direction for the Occupational Therapy service within the school. Deliver a highly specialist, evidence-based service for children with complex neurodevelopmental needs, ensuring integration across the transdisciplinary team and alignment with organisational strategy, clinical standards, and school goals.

Lead the Occupational Therapy service, shape strategic direction, contribute to senior management decision-making, and develop staff using our OT Competency Framework all with the backing of a collaborative senior team dedicated to supporting your growth and confidence.

Job Role:
