Job summary

Active Care Group seeks a Lead Occupational Therapist to guide and develop therapy services at our Blackheath and nearby Chislehurst units. You will balance a clinical caseload with team leadership, ensuring high standards of practice and outstanding patient outcomes.

You will oversee governance, staff development and service development while maintaining hands-on engagement with rehabilitation and patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration confirmed and active.
• Experience in neurological rehabilitation or related fields.
• Proven leadership ability to mentor and inspire teams.
• Demonstrated commitment to innovation and patient outcomes.
• Enhanced DBS required if employed.

Active Care Group are looking for an inspiring and forward-thinking Lead Occupational Therapist to join the therapy team at Blackheath Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre, with a key role in supporting the delivery and development of therapy services at our neighbouring Chislehurst unit.

You’ll balance team leadership, service development and clinical oversight with a small but rewarding clinical caseload, ensuring you remain connected to the patients and rehabilitation work at the heart of our service.

You’ll have the autonomy to shape how the OT service is delivered, supported by an established, well-resourced team, and the flexibility to use your expertise where it makes the most impact. In addition, you will be part of the therapy leadership team which has responsibility for ensuring strong clinical governance, staff wellbeing and service development.

The role:

Standard working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
