Sanctuary is recruiting a Lead Occupational Therapist for our Farmfield Drive, Charlwood site in Surrey. The role leads a multidisciplinary team delivering occupational therapy services to adults with complex needs. It requires a registered OT with 3+ years post-qualifying experience and strong leadership abilities.

You will supervise junior staff, coordinate treatment plans, and ensure high-quality care while maintaining thorough records. Driving licence is required for site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered as an Occupational Therapist
• At least 3 years post-qualifying experience
• Experience in assessing individuals using various psychometrics and risk assessment tools
• Ability to work therapeutically, engaging individuals in developing insight and coping skills
• Experience supervising and managing junior staff members
• Full and clean UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Participate fully with the multidisciplinary team, encouraging service users to engage actively in their care pathways
• Manage and coordinate the implementation of individual treatment plans for occupational therapy services, ensuring treatments, activities, and interventions are delivered effectively
• Maintain accurate and timely records of each patient's rehabilitation and progress
• Efficiently manage and support junior staff, fostering a culture of development and teamwork
• Support clinical team working, providing direct interventions and delivering engaging staff training programmes
