Early Years Academy is seeking a capable Nursery Room Leader in Bushey, Hertfordshire. The role focuses on leading the nursery room, mentoring practitioners and delivering high-quality childcare aligned with EYFS standards.

The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, support children's development and work closely with the Nursery Manager to maintain excellent practice and positive outcomes for families.

Qualifikationen

• A recognised Level 3 qualification or above in Childcare or Early Years.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience leading nursery staff and supporting staff development.
• Commitment to high-quality childcare and early education.

Aufgaben

• Lead the daily operation of the designated nursery room.
• Supervise, motivate and mentor Nursery Practitioners and staff.
• Ensure high-quality care, education and learning experiences.
• Plan and oversee age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS.
• Monitor children's learning, development, observations and assessments.
• Support children's independence, confidence and wellbeing.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety standards and procedures.
• Support induction, training and professional development of colleagues.
• Collaborate with the Nursery Manager to uphold service quality.
