Job summary

Caring Kindergartens in the United Kingdom is seeking a passionate early years practitioner with a Level 3 childcare qualification to lead a team of children and support their development through observation and play. You will be a key worker, delivering engaging activities in line with EYFS standards.

The role emphasises safeguarding, excellent English, reflective practice, and collaboration with colleagues to create a safe, stimulating nursery environment that supports every child's learning

Qualifications

• Level 3 childcare qualification recognised by the Department for Education.
• Good understanding of the EYFS.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Clear DBS check.
• Experience in an early years setting.
• Ability to extend learning through high quality experiences.
• Ability to manage a group of key children.
• Strong communication with adults and children.
• Commitment to reflective practice and self-development.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and act as key worker for a group of children, observing and recording progress.
• Develop high quality interactions to extend thinking and learning.
• Plan and deliver a range of play experiences for holistic development.
• Ensure activities align with next steps, observations and EYFS interests.
• Support children’s self-esteem, confidence and competence.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive nursery environment.
