The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King'S Lynn NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Lead Nurse for Gynaecology and Colposcopy to provide clinical leadership and direction for high-quality patient care. The post holder will ensure national standards compliance, lead service development, and support staff in safe, compassionate care.
Responsibilities include oversight of colposcopy clinics, cervical screening adherence, and active participation in multidisciplinary teams and governance activities.
The Lead Nurse for Gynaecology and Colposcopy is responsible for the clinical leadership, management, and delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care within gynaecology and colposcopy services.
The post holder will provide expert clinical practice, ensure compliance with national standards (e.g., cervical screening programme requirements), lead service development, and support staff to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.
The role includes oversight of colposcopy clinics, supporting early detection and management of cervical abnormalities, and working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
The post holder will already be a colposcopist and become the Trusts Named Lead Colposcopist.
