What You'll Do as School Lead Nurse

Take overall responsibility for the delivery of high-quality nursing care to pupils, ensuring their physical and emotional wellbeing.

Lead the school's Medical Centre team as the School Lead Nurse, overseeing day-to-day operations, managing nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Provide direct clinical support, respond to medical emergencies, and manage care plans for students with ongoing health needs.

*

Liaise effectively with parents, school staff, and external healthcare professionals to ensure a joined-up approach to care.

Promote best practice in safeguarding, infection control, and health education across the school community.
