Location: Central Manchester (2 days per week, flexible start between 7am-10am)

What You’ll Do

• Take a hands‑on approach to design, develop, and maintain high‑quality software applications.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code that meets project requirements.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and enforcing coding standards.
• Lead project planning and estimation, ensuring timely delivery and efficient execution.
• Act as a bridge between Engineering and Senior Management, communicating progress and technical challenges effectively.

Requirements

• Strong experience in C# .NET (Framework & Core) and SQL/MySQL, building web services.
• Expertise in enterprise‑level single‑page applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JS frameworks.
• Demonstrable Leadership experience (coaching and mentoring developers).
• Knowledge and understanding of software architecture.
• Knowledge of ES standards and TypeScript (beneficial).
• Solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.
• Experience with message brokers and NoSQL (advantageous).
• Familiarity with WinForms/WPF (useful).
• Background in Agile environments with TDD or similar quality‑focused approaches.
