Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in an appropriate discipline related to the relevant subject and a teaching qualification coupled with QTS.
• Recent and relevant teaching experience and experience of assessment at Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Proficiency with standard computer packages (word processing, email, spreadsheets) to support student learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead Music provision as subject leader within the department.
• Deliver high-quality lessons using Assessment for Learning (AfL) and diverse strategies.
• Use student data to identify development areas and raise standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues across PE, Dance and Health & Social Care to enhance learning.
